Short answer: You can book and pay for FRESHTURF at someone else's South Auckland address. We deal with you for scheduling, changes and invoicing, and simply turn up and do the lawns at theirs.
It works the same whether you're across town or overseas. There's no contract, and the person at the property doesn't need to be home, arrange anything, or handle money.

A good part of our regular work is booked by someone who doesn't live at the property. The usual reasons:

Why people ask us to handle it this way
The awkward part is rarely the mowing. It's that an older parent may not want to admit the lawn has become too much, or won't spend the money on themselves, or would rather not have a stranger to organise and pay each fortnight.
Taking the arrangement off them entirely removes all of that. They don't get an invoice, they don't need to be home, and they don't have to remember which week we're due. If it helps, we can keep it low-key — turn up, do the job, go.
How to set it up
Send us the property address and your own contact details, and say clearly that you're arranging it on someone else's behalf. Then tell us two practical things: whether anyone will usually be home, and anything we should know about access — a side gate latch, a dog, a spot to park.
If you'd like the person at the property to be able to ask us to skip a week or do something extra, say so and we'll take instructions from them too. Otherwise we come back to you for anything that isn't the standard visit.

Common questions
Can I pay from overseas?
Yes. An international bank transfer to a New Zealand account works, and we can invoice monthly rather than per visit so there are fewer transfers to make. Plenty of people manage a parent's lawns from Australia or the UK this way.
Does the person at the property need to do anything?
No. They don't need to be home, provide equipment, or handle payment. If they'd like to say hello they're welcome to, and if they'd rather we just get on with it, that's fine too.
My parent is house-proud and might feel awkward about it.
Very common, and worth telling us. We keep it matter-of-fact — turn up, do a tidy job, leave the place clean. Some families frame it as a gift or as something they've arranged for their own peace of mind, which tends to land better than anything implying they can't manage.
Can several of us split the cost?
We invoice one person, but there's nothing stopping you dividing it privately. Tell us who the invoice should go to.
Can I set it up for just a few months?
Yes — over a recovery, a hospital stay, or while someone's away. There's no minimum term, and no contract to exit.
What if something needs a decision on the day?
We'll call or message you rather than putting the person at the property on the spot. If you'd prefer them to be able to make those calls themselves, tell us and we'll take instructions from them as well.
