How overgrown is too overgrown?
We've not hit that point yet. Long grass takes extra passes and sometimes a different machine, so it costs more than a maintained lawn — but it's normal work and we'd honestly rather take on the hard ones. Send a photo and we'll price it properly.
Will the lawn look bad afterwards?
Straight after a big cut, yellow patches are normal — grass that's been shaded by its own length hasn't seen sun in a while. It greens up within a couple of weeks. On really long grass we take it down in stages rather than scalping it in one pass, which helps a lot.
Can you take the clippings?
Yes, and on an overgrown job there's usually far more than a green bin can hold. That's rubbish removal, charged on top because of dump fees, and quoted before we load anything.
How quickly can you come?
Most enquiries get a reply the same day, and a standard one-off usually fits in within a few days. If you've got a hard deadline — an open home, visitors landing, an inspection — say so when you enquire and we'll tell you straight away whether we can make it.
Can I go onto regular service afterwards?
Of course, and it's cheaper once the lawn is back under control. But there's no obligation and we won't push it.
